What is the best book you read in March?
My favorite read of February was:
HOLD STILL by Nina LaCour

I know this book has been out for some time now, but for some reason, I just never got around to reading it. I finally purchased it on my Nook and absolutely loved it.
Caitlin's struggle to accept the death of her best friend is emotional and easy to connect with. Caitlin goes from hardly speaking and sleeping in her car, with her parents constant worried gazes, to embracing the life that is still there for her to live.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on HOLD STILL if you've read it.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read this, but I recently bought LaCour's THE DISENCHANTMENTS. I love a good contemporary, so I'll have to put this one on my list :)
ReplyDeleteOh this sounds sad and lovely. Will definitely have to check it out. I haven't read much contemporary YA lately, but this seems like a good one.
